UNESCO recognized the Sacred City of Anuradhapura as a World Heritage Site in 1982 due to the ancient Sri Lankan civilization that once stood there.

Day 2: Anuradhapura to Jaffna

Jaffna is a city on Sri Lanka's northern tip. The Nallur Kandaswamy Hindu temple is very big and has golden arches and a beautiful gopuram tower. The star-shaped Jaffna Fort, located on the coast, was originally constructed by the Portuguese in the 17th century but was subsequently occupied by the Dutch and British. The Jaffna Public Library is a sign of how the city has changed since the war. There are Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artefacts in the Jaffna Archaeological Museum.

Day 6: Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa

The ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Considered Sri Lanka's second dynasty. At one point, the city of Polonnaruwa was charged with guarding the sacred tooth relic against foreign invaders. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa is home to many impressive monuments, including several stupas. Polonnaruwa was the island nation of Sri Lanka's second capital (10- 12 centuries).

Day 7: Sigiriya to Kandy

Kandy is a city with many cultures and one of the well-known main cities in Sri Lanka and is located in the heart of Sri Lanka. Since the Buddha's sacred tooth relic is housed there, Kandy has gained additional notoriety as a holy city. We'll take you to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya and the Temple of the Tooth, where a sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha is enshrined. The temple is exquisitely designed with ornamental stonework, a golden roof, and polished wood.

Day 8: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya is a city in the hill country of the Central Province of Sri Lanka famously known as "Little England." The city is the administrative center of the Nuwara Eliya District. It has beautiful scenery and the coldest weather in Sri Lanka. With mist covering the tops of the hills, this small city looks like it belongs in heaven. It's hard to blink for a second when you see flowers on such beautiful landscapes.

Day 10: Ella to Yala

Yala is in the southeast corner of Sri Lanka. It is in the Hambantota district of the southern province and the Monaragala district of the Uva province. Palatupana, which is 12 km from Kirinda, is where you can enter the park. From Colombo to the place where you can get into Palatupana is 305km.

Day 13: South Beach Coast to Negombo

Negombo is a popular tourist destination with its pristine beaches, historic canals, lagoons and other breathtaking views. The Porutota stretch has been known for its mushrooming pubs and restaurants for quite a long time. Since many of the star-class hotels are also found along this street, local businesses also have quite a potential, with tourists walking into them almost all the time. Shops selling souvenirs shops, swimming accessories, and clothes are also found in addition to the pubs and cafes. We will take you to discover some of the happening places in Negombo to a few known places to taste some of their signature dishes. You will also visit some of the iconic landmarks in Negombo, including the fish market, the lagoons and other sacred places of worship.
